To help new moms and dads, CCP is part of a state grant to B’more for Healthy Babies to coordinate their needs during pregnancy and beyond.
CCP has created the SPARK program, an internship and fellowship program in Tanzania, to bring new faces into social and behavior change.

Years after the population, health and environment program ended, new findings suggest many communities have continued to nurture the seeds planted.
Breakthrough ACTION-Liberia played a lead role in agenda setting for the symposium, and organized two sessions on community engagement.
“There are worse ways to spend your time and take an active role in family planning,” says CCP’s Dominick Shattuck, in a commentary published in the Baltimore Sun.
CCP research suggests ways to improve uptake of the COVID-19 vaccine, which was just approved in Côte d’Ivoire for pregnant women in January.
“Behind these numbers are human lives,” says CCP’s Tina Suliman. “There are people we love, community members in these numbers.”
“We are proud to be able to continue serving people around the world who want to be protected from what is still a global pandemic,” says the director of the Breakthrough ACTION project.
