Health Communication Capacity Collaborative

hc3Health Communication Capacity Collaborative (HC3) is conducting a household-based survey to look at the impact of various channels of behavior change communication on family planning and reproductive health behavior among Tanzanians. Specifically, HC3 wants to see whether exposure to various ongoing programs has an additive effect when messages are communicated via multiple channels (interpersonal communication, community groups and events, mass media, ICT, etc.)., as well as a Facebook-based study where family planning and reproductive health outcomes will be compared across three groups.

Tanzania Capacity and Communication Project

A five-year, USAID-funded project, the Tanzania Capacity and Communication Project (TCCP) is working in partnership with the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare – National AIDS Control Program for AIDS. TCCP’s vision is a Tanzania where people take charge of their own health, thus creating healthy households where individual changes in health lead to healthier families and communities. Its areas of focus include HIV prevention, reproductive health and maternal and child health.
