A new Global Program on Avian and Pandemic Flu Communication is operating at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, Center for Communication Program (CCP). The Global Program signals CCP’s commitment to achieving a proactively prepared international avian and pandemic flu community through strategic communication.
Dr. Jane Bertrand, director, Center for Communication Programs (CCP) and Dr. Thomas Quinn, director, Center for Global Health announced Johns Hopkins University won a five-year award for Project SEARCH – Supporting Evaluation and Research to Combat HIV/AIDS from the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID).

A documentary and a TV drama produced with support from the Center for Communication (CCP) at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health won medals at the 2007 New York Festivals. The Zambia documentary Road to Hope won a Silver World Medal in film and video, and the Pakistan TV show Kaisey Kahoon won a Bronze World Medal in TV programming and promotion.
