Parent-Child Communication Campaign Launched in Cote d’Ivoire

The Parent-Child Communication Campaign in Cote d’Ivoire was launched on Wednesday, February 10, 2010, with the first airing of spots on National Television.

Each month, until May 8, 2010, 18 billboards will be deployed in Abidjan, Yamoussoukro and Abengourou coupled with the corresponding TV spot (every evening at 7:30 p.m.).

This month, the spot and billboards will be promoting mother-daughter communication. Community activities will be conducted with parents using IEC materials that CCP is in the process of finalizing (small posters reproducing the billboard images, TV spots, and an educational leaflet aimed at parents).

A user’s guide will also be produced to train NGOs in the use of these materials.
