Intersexions, a challenging and uncompromising drama series sponsored by Johns Hopkins Health and Education in South Africa (JHHESA), was voted South Africa’s Best Television Show of 2011 and Best Drama Series of 2011 in the people’s choice awards run by TVSA, South Africa’s Television Authority.

Now in its second year, Intersexions examines issues, and the possible devastating consequences, surrounding love, sex and relationships. It dramatizes the effects of a sexual network, tracing the movement of HIV/AIDS from partner to partner.

Funded by USAID and PEPFAR and produced by Curious Pictures and Ants Multimedia, in partnership with JHHESA and SABC Education, Intersexions is aired on SABC 1 on Tuesdays.
