The Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health Center for Communication Programs (JHU∙CCP) is pleased to announce that the 28th Leadership in Strategic Health Communication (LSHC) Workshop will take place from May 31-June 19, 2015 in Baltimore, Maryland.
The LSHC workshop integrates communication theory and experiential learning. The workshop guides participants through the steps of designing effective health communication and advocacy strategies in a lively, friendly and creative setting. From a diverse peer group and knowledgeable trainers, to the unparalleled resources of the Johns Hopkins University and worldwide experience of the Center for Communication Programs, participants acquire advanced skills and share accomplishments and challenges.
The LSHC Workshop is facilitated by Dr. Benjamin Lozare, Director of Training and Capacity Building, a world renowned expert in the field of health communication.
The 27th LSHC Workshop took place in June 2014 and brought together participants from over 17 countries. These individuals join the community of thousands of LSHC alumni who span the globe and who are shaping public health policy in their respective countries.
An early bird special on tuition is offered for all applications received before February 28, 2015. The fee does not include visa application, administrative fee, round-trip travel to Baltimore, or living expenses. No applications will be accepted after March 15, 2015.
