Dozens of presentations, posters, multimedia showcases and auxiliary sessions led by CCP staff will be part of the 2022 Summit, kicking off next week in Marrakech, Morocco.
Given the continued uncertainty surrounding the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the 2020 International Social and Behavior Change Communication Summit is again being postponed. The new dates are Sept. 20-24, 2021.
Given the latest WHO guidance, the unpredictable nature of the novel coronavirus and the growing number of travel restrictions in place, organizers have made the “extremely difficult decision” to postpone this month’s 2020 International SBCC Summit in Marrakech, Morocco.
“The 2020 Summit promises to be our most dynamic one yet so we needed a roster of speakers to match,” says CCP’s Susan Krenn. “We couldn’t be more thrilled to welcome these diverse and inspiring individuals to the lineup.”
More than 2,100 abstracts/proposals from 109 countries were submitted for consideration for the 2020 International SBCC Summit to be held March 30 to April 3 in Marrakech, Morocco.
The next International Social and Behavior Change Communication Summit will be held in Morocco from March 30 to April 3, 2020. CCP leads the organizing committee.
“A week at the Summit was truly a crash course in the best our field has to offer,” the report states. Organizers are already working to determine the site for a 2020 SBCC Summit.
In the words of the editor, the issue “attempts to capture the excitement and dynamism of the Summit, while presenting some of the evidence and lessons learned in SBCC and E-E that were shared at the Summit.” CCP was the lead organizer of the event.
