The Johns Hopkins Center for Communication Programs is soliciting donations for a scholarship fund to assist people who wish to attend the 2018 International Social and Behavior Change Summit Featuring Entertainment Education being held in Nusa Dua, Indonesia from April 16-20, 2018.
“We expect the 2018 summit to draw practitioners from around the world for an exciting week of presentations, networking and discussions on the future of the SBCC field. The scholarship fund will help deepen the global perspective and will benefit all,” says Susan Krenn, CCP’s executive director and one of the lead organizers of the event. “The Steering Committee is eager to have diversity of thought, a different cultural context and a unique day-to-day perspective on our collective work. Any contribution, large or small, will help us provide an opportunity for those who might not otherwise be able to attend.”
Shifting Norms, Changing Behavior, Amplifying Voice: What Works? The 2018 International Social and Behavior Change Communication Summit featuring Entertainment-Education builds on a successful 2016 conference that drew more than 750 people from more than 50 countries to Ethiopia.
