India Leadership Workshop

The 8th Strategic Health Communication Workshop will take place from March 10 to 21, 2014 in New, Delhi, India. This workshop is a ten-day version of the popular Leadership in Strategic Health Communication (LSHC) workshop run annually by the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health University Center for Communication Programs (JHU∙CCP) in Baltimore under the leadership of Dr. Benjamin Lozare.

The Strategic Health Communication Workshop is geared towards:

  • Mid- and senior-level health communication professionals;
  • Individuals working in the area of behavior change for health and social issues;
  • Individuals who are interested in the science of strategic communication.

This ten-day workshop provides an opportunity for participants from India and other countries in the region to enhance Behavior Change Communication understanding, knowledge and skills. By applying best practices in leadership to strategic health communication planning, participants learn from each other, from knowledgeable trainers, from the resources of the Johns Hopkins University and from the worldwide experience of JHU∙CCP.

The cost of the workshop is approximately $2000 for Indian participants and $2500 for individuals from outside India. This cost includes tuition, room and board and weekend outing. It does not include airfare or incidentals.

Interested applicants are encouraged to apply early due to high demand and a limited number of seats. All application forms should be submitted by December 31, 2013.
