The response to the call for abstracts for the 2018 International Social and Behavior Change Communication Summit has been incredible.
Organizers received a record 1,266 abstract submissions from 95 countries. Two-thirds of the submissions came from low- and middle-income countries, with a third of all abstracts coming from Africa.
Evaluators are working overtime to review abstracts and select those that represent the best of what the field of social and behavior change communication has to offer. Those who submitted will learn whether they were accepted by Jan. 19.
We will share speaker and program details as they become available.
In the meantime, some of CCP’s technical gurus have put together this cool interactive map. Click on the map below to see how many people from your country submitted abstracts.
Registration is still open for the summit, scheduled for April 16-20 in Nusa Dua, Indonesia. Sponsorship opportunities are still available. Scholarship applications will open on Jan. 22.
