Registration for the 2026 International Social and Behavior Change Communication (SBCC) Summit opens today. 

Co-organized by the Johns Hopkins Center for Communication Programs and the Centre for Communication and Social Impact, this highly anticipated event will take place in Panama City, Panama, from June 22–26, 2026. 

Those who register early will be eligible to reserve a ticket at a discounted rate.

The Summit – the largest global gathering of social and behavior change professionals – brings together researchers, practitioners, donors and policymakers from more than 100 countries to explore innovations and evidence that drive lasting social and behavioral impact.

Country categories are based on the World Bank’s income classifications. Your registration rate depends on the country where you live and work, not your nationality. 

  • High-income countries: Participants based in countries classified by the World Bank as high-income. 
  • Middle-income countries: Participants from upper-middle or lower-middle income countries. 
  • Low-income countries: Participants from low-income countries. 
  • Students and youth (35 and under): Eligible regardless of country category; proof of age may be required.
