The next International Social and Behavior Change Communication Summit will be held in Morocco from March 30 to April 3, 2020. CCP leads the organizing committee.
The meetings, one led by CCP, will bring together social and behavior change practitioners from across the continent to learn from one another.
“A week at the Summit was truly a crash course in the best our field has to offer,” the report states. Organizers are already working to determine the site for a 2020 SBCC Summit.
In the words of the editor, the issue “attempts to capture the excitement and dynamism of the Summit, while presenting some of the evidence and lessons learned in SBCC and E-E that were shared at the Summit.” CCP was the lead organizer of the event.
On the heels of the 2018 SBCC Summit in April, CCP is organizing a summit focused on the social and behavior change work being done in francophone Africa.
“This Summit has confirmed the vitality, dynamism, evolution and maturity of our field of practice,” the declaration states. “We return home more united and more committed to people-centered development than ever.”
